DRUG INTERACTION ON THE PATIENT MEDICATION PROFILE
The Drug Interaction Feature can be accessed in the Medication Profile. The button can be found on the page toolbar just above the list of medications.
1.pngClick on the Drug Interaction button to see the reactions of the available drugs ministered to the patient.
To print, click on the “Printer Friendly” link.
2.pngTo access drug data, click on the drug information icon located on the left side of the drug.
3.pngThe system also has a Patient Handout that can be printed by clinicians for reference. It is a helpful guide that can be given to patients and patient caregivers.

Click on the Drug Interaction tab at the bottom of the page. A pop up will show at the upper right side which contains interaction information.

When putting in drug information on physician order forms, the user has the option to check for drug interaction information.

Drug information is also available in the new Professional Nursing section of the system. To access this, go to Help and click on the ”Professional Nursing” link.
8.pngClicking on the subject matters on the left side of the page will open up an in-depth discussion on the topic.
