This provides an overview of the newly implemented feature for migrating medications from PEPID to FDB. The feature has been deployed on the PTO, POC, and Oasis pages, enhancing medication management within the application.
Users can access the medication migration feature by navigating to the PTO, POC, or Oasis pages within the application.
The new feature introduces a red icon placed beneath the medication grid on these pages. This red icon serves as an indicator, highlighting medications that have not yet been migrated to FDB. A tooltip, "Migrate medication to FDB," appears when hovering over the icon.
Upon selecting the red icon, two scenarios may occur:
Non-Ingredient Medication: In this case, there is no need to manually enter the medication. The FDB equivalent will automatically populate in the textbox under "Medication Name" as "FDB Medication (Equivalent) Non-Ingredient."
Ingredient Medication: When dealing with ingredient medications, users are required to perform a manual search on the right side. After selecting a result, they must click "Convert Medication to FDB."
Subsequent to converting medication to FDB, two options become available:
A popup window appears, allowing users to decide whether they want to update all medications in the database tables (PTO, POC, Oasis) for all patients. The green button labeled "Yes (update all with the same medication)" initiates this process. Selecting "No" updates the documents exclusively for the specific patient.
By clicking on the green "i" icon, a new popup displays the FDB monograph result. This modal offers an enhanced size compared to the previous version.
