The Referral Activity feature provides an overview of your agency's referral activities. Use this feature to gain valuable operational insights, view referral statuses, and manage them effectively.
From the Main Menu, select Referral Activity.
The dashboard provides a visual overview of referral data through graphs and a filterable grid.
Graph Overview: Hover over the graphs to display the number of referrals for each status.
Bar Graph: Displays the number of patients referred to different sources:
Physician: The number of patients referred to a physician.
Inpatient Facility: The number of patients referred to an inpatient facility.
Pharmacy: The number of patients referred to a pharmacy.
Other Contact: The number of patients referred to another contact.
Pie Graph: Displays the status of patients within your agency:
Green: The patient was admitted to the agency.
Blue: The patient's admission status is pending.
Orange: The patient was not admitted to the agency.
Use the filters to find specific referral data.
How to Filter Referrals:
Select a Liaison Officer Name from the dropdown list.
Choose a Date of Activity range (From and To).
Filter by Referral Type and Name.
Specify whether the patient Was the Patient Admitted to this Agency?
Click the SEARCH button to apply your filters.
Click the RESET button to clear all filters.
Referral activities are automatically created when you set a Referral Source in the Patient Admission page or the Patient Intake Wizard. If a referral activity for a patient already exists, the system automatically updates the entry.
The Referral Activity page displays your filtered results in a grid format, allowing you to monitor and manage individual referral activities.
How to Manage and Sort Referral Activities:
Sort the Grid: To sort the activities, click the column header for Liaison Officer, Date of Activity, or Referral Type.
View Details: Click on any referral activity in the grid to open a pop-up with detailed information.
Edit Activity: Click on an existing referral activity, make your changes in the pop-up window, and click Save.
Delete Activity: Select a referral activity and click the Delete button to remove it.
Add Activity: Click the Add button to open a pop-up. Search for a Liaison Officer, select a Referral Type, and search for the Referral Name (e.g., Physician).
