Visit Notes can be created as long there is plotted/posted visit for the patient.
Left Click on the Discipline icon and select “Visit Note.”
Note Type - Select the type of visit note from the drop-down. Changing the type of visit note will erase all information from the previously filled out form.
Co-signing Discipline - Allows associating another discipline in the visit note.
(e.g., RN Supervisor or Case Manager). Both disciplines need to sign the visit note.
Copy Base From - Allows the discipline to copy from previously completed notes. (The note should be in the same certification period).
Documents - Allows users to upload paper-based (scanned) copy of the note.
Info - Shows the last saved date and time and the note version of the current note the user is working on.
Print - Allows users (with access) to print the note.
Update Template - Allows users (with access) to update the form to its latest version.
QA Comment (Permission based)
This is where the QA input their comments if the note needs to be pushed back to the discipline for revision.
Left-click the gray area in the Calendar. Below the Interdisciplinary Team POC Update (IDT form) is a list of enabled “Other Notes” per agency’s request based on the Note Title.
The features of the “Other Notes” are almost the same as the regular visit notes plus the following:
Disciplines / Physicians - are manually assigned to the note.
The agency can assign multiple disciplines/physicians in other notes.
Options - this button allows users to set the e-sign option to a single signatory or multiple signatories.
It’s a gear icon located in the upper right side of the note.
Once the note is saved, the user must click the “Review” button to see the “Electronically Sign” option. To e-sign the note, make sure to enter the four-digit pin provided by the agency. Clicking the “Save” again without clicking the “Electronically Sign” will set the note back to In Progress.
