Requirements: Any agency administrator or office staff tasked to create and reconcile payroll information can perform the necessary action if they hold a Hospice Centre user’s account and has access to these sections.
Checking the discipline’s pay rate can be done in the Discipline's Visit types and Pay Rates under the Admin Menu.
To set the pay rate of each visit type for the discipline, click “Manage Rates”. If you have an undefined or outdated pay rate, it will result in discrepancies when generating discipline payroll.
Set the Amount and Effective Date. Setting the End Date is optional.
The Payroll Processing page is located under the Batch menu of Hospice Centre.
Once directed in the payroll processing page, there are two easy steps to generate a payroll at the left panel.

Filters that the user needs to set:
The Payroll period - This will be the actual “pay-out date”.
Actual Visit from and to – This will identify the exact dates to be covered on this payroll period.
Optional filters that may apply:
Posted Visit from and to – This will identify the date of the visit posted
Discipline – If the user would like to process payroll for a specific discipline only.
All Active Discipline – This will show the user disciplines with “active” status only.

Once the “Search” button is clicked, a list of visits will show up.
Check the boxes for visits to be marked as Paid by clicking the ”Mark Selected as Paid”.
Click Yes to save. Items that are marked as paid will be moved from Step 1 to Step 2 Generated Payroll.
This is where the user searches for the payroll the user has generated.
Filter it by entering the Discipline or the payroll period.
Once payroll details are populated, the page will have these options:
Unpay - This is to undo the created payroll. The items will go back to step 1.
Post Check - This will open a pop-up to allow the user to enter check date & number for documentation.
Print - This allows the user to print the Discipline Payroll Report.
This will allow the user to print the Batch Payroll or Payroll Summary.
Clicking the Unbatch All will put back the entire batch back to Step 1.
If the payroll has posted a check (Step 2), this is where the user can search for it.
Users can filter it by Discipline or Check Number from the previous pay information.
Clicking the Delete will move the payroll back to Step 1.
